Lonely and alone I stand and ponder

At the crossroads of my life

What is my destiny to be

Which is the path I must lead?

Killing the bugs buzzing around

Thinking of their pointless existence

I sit and ponder

Am I one of them?

Watching the cars go by

Feeling the sun shine

The trees dance and the birds sing

I think “Can I be as happy as thee?”

Looking back I reminiscence

The mistakes I committed

The choices I made

The vision I chose to destroy
